The south west of Turkey has a surprisingly varied and beautiful landscape. Alternatif Outdoor offers you several different guided one-day routes depending on the season, your interests and level of fitness. We travel at the pace you wish and can detour to visit historic sites, interact with the locals or simply stop to appreciate the views!
We use experienced and knowledgeable guides who will explain the environment to you and carry a first aid kit on each walk. Hiking boots are generally not essential but stout trainers and a day pack plus plenty of water are necessary.
Historic Hills :
A delightful walk out of Dalyan passing the rock tombs and the ancient city of Caunos. We follow shaded forest paths climbing low passes on the coastal route to the yachting village of Ekincik.
The Dalaman Valley :
An energetic walk following an old miners’ path through the magnificent limestone canyon of the stunningly beautiful Dalaman River valley.
Ula Ancient Road :
We hike down the zig-zagging path which in ancient times used to be an important link between the hill town of Ula and the plain of Gökova, and we enjoy spectacular views across the plain to the mountains beyond.
We run these trips on demand at any time of year, as individual excursions (minimum 4 people) or as part of a customized itinerary
